Training for Speech-Language Pathologists.

This workshop is focused on helping Speech-Language Pathologists to learn to use more aspects of the iPad for therapy with clients. Liz will help you to discover the plethora of difference kinds of applications useful to a Speech-Language Pathology practice.

Material : iPad with the last version of iOS

Our training has two parts.

In the morning, this workshop is focused on helping Speech-Language Pathologists to learn to use more aspects of the iPad for therapy with clients. The morning will be devoted to the technical tips and tricks to help you to fully utilize the iPad in a professional context. Even if you are already quite familiar with your device, you will see that there are a wide variety of little-known functions and options that, once mastered and configured, will make a significant difference in your daily practice. Liz will help you to make your device perform more efficiently and work harder to make your practice easier.

In the afternoon, Liz will help you to discover the plethora of difference kinds of applications useful to a Speech-Language Pathology practice. The field of Speech-Language Pathology applications created by Speech Pathologists for Speech Pathologists (and parents) has exploded over the last few years. It’s quite intimidating to know where to begin, how to select applications which best meet the needs of your practice & your families and which applications work best with which therapy goals. Liz will explore the range of apps with you and discuss the selection of applications based on needs. A range of applications which are helpful to creating personalized materials, for document access and sharing as well as for administrative tasks will also be introduced.
